Mt. Zion - Tevis Mae Gulledge, 93, of Mt. Zion passed away at 7:28 p.m., Thursday, June 9, 2010.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 14, 2010 at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. till service time at the funeral home on Monday. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Gulledge was born on July 28, 1916, in Cherokee County, Alabama the daughter of Norman Watson and Minnie (Orr) Adrian. She married Jackson Shipp Gulledge on December 25, 1935. He preceded her in death on December 1, 1990. She retired from Jewel Foods after thirty two years of service.
Surviving are her grandchildren: Sherie Holeman and her husband Don of Mt. Zion, Lorie Novak of Centralia, IL, Robert Gulledge of Mt. Zion, William Gulledge of Mt. Zion, and Michael Gulledge; great grandchildren: Russell West, Dylan Holeman, Dorie Holeman, Jeremy Daniels, Lyric Novak, Paige Novak, Joey Gulledge, Shelby Gulledge, and Morgan Gulledge; great-great grandson: Keegan Gulledge.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Jack, son: Jerry Lee, parents, brother: Alvie; and sister: Ruby.
